PONTIF MAX TR P COS P P Fides standing front, head to right, right foot on helmet, holding standard in each hand. BMC 38. Cohen . RIC 22A. Nicely toned and with an excellent portrait. The obverse struck slightly off center and the reverse a bit weak, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

From the Joseph Markowitz Collection (1897-1981), brought to Israel in 1949 and kept in the family ever since.
